As well as holding membership of RoSPA (please here to view), John Laing has recently been awarded Gold for the fifth consecutive year, this is a reflection of the management system we operate, our employee engagement and our accident/incident rate.

 

Business in the Community - Corporate Responsibility Index

John Laing has achieved Platinum in Business in the Community's 11th corporate responsbility index

Lloyds Register Quality Assurance (LRQA)

John Laing’s Integrated Management System covers Quality, Environment, Health and Safety.

To demonstrate our commitment to all three aspects we are accredited to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.  Please here to the view latest LRQA executive summary report.

All John Laing sites are subject to both internal and external audits on a regular basis. Our external auditor, LRQA carries out more in-depth visits every three years to ensure our systems are robust.

John Laing has systems in place that comply with the BS 25999 certification for Business Continuity Management and these will be subject to internal audit procedures to ensure compliance with the Standard.

 

The Associated Parliamentary Corporate Responsibility Group

John Laing is a member of the Associated Parliamentary Corporate Responsibility Group whose purpose is to promote debate and understanding of corporate social responsibility within Parliament. It seeks to achieve this by promoting an exchange of views between Parliamentarians and people with an active interest in corporate responsibility. David Micciche, Health, Safety, Environment and Sustainability Director attends the meetings on behalf of John Laing.

 

The Prince's Trust Construction and Business Services Leadership Group

As patrons of the Prince's Trust Construction and Business Services Leadership Group consequently the Get into Construction Scheme, John Laing looks to consistently engage its' employees to become involved with the activities of the Prince's Trust.
