John Laing strengthens its property development team

John Laing Projects & Developments has appointed Martin Woodhouse as Development Manager to capitalise on its increasing level of property led projects.

Prior to joining John Laing, Martin, a Chartered Surveyor, spent two years at British Waterways as a Development Surveyor representing the company on its joint-venture property development partnerships.  Prior to that, he worked as a PFI bid manager for King Sturge in the education sector.

Commenting on his appointment, Martin said: “I am excited about the opportunities and challenges to develop John Laing’s property activity, whilst enhancing its core business.”

Jamie Kerr, Managing Director of John Laing Projects & Developments said: “Martin’s appointment is part of our on-going strategy to build a credible presence in infrastructure related property development.”
