Tim Grier appointed managing director, Equion Facilities ManagementTuesday, September 28, 2004 Equion, a division of John Laing plc, has appointed Tim Grier (42) as managing director of its facilities management business, Equion FM. Tim will take responsibility for the management and growth of business with Equion’s customer base in the PFI serviced accommodation sector and with private sector clients. Tim’s objective at Equion FM will be to build on success to date and to grow the business to a turnover of £25m by December 2005, delivering services to 100 properties. This will mean growing the current employee base of 200 to over 300 in this same period. He said today: “Equion FM has a first class reputation in the market place for service and quality and I’m delighted to be joining the company at this exciting phase in its development. We intend to expand the business organically, developing long-term operational contracts through the delivery of fully integrated facilities management.
