John Laing plc has appointed David Micciche as HSES (Health, Safety, Environment and Sustainability) Director taking responsibility for legal compliance, HSE performance, and the company’s CSR agenda.
David joins from Amey plc where he was the Group HSEQ Advisor and responsible for the strategic development of management systems as well as advising on HSE issues in relation to PFI projects.
David has a number of industry qualifications and is a member of various professional bodies including the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health and the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management.
Reporting to Group Operations Director Chris Waples, David’s appointment at John Laing is with immediate effect and he will replace Andrew Gibb who retires in April this year.
Chris Waples commented on the appointment: “David is highly qualified in the field of Occupational Safety and Health and Environmental Management, his knowledge and experience is a valuable addition to the company.”
