We have diversified our investment interests in the renewable energy sector (beyond waste treatment) to include working within the global onshore wind and solar markets, building partnerships with experienced developers for asset development, and equity investment.
John Laing signed its first project in the Renewable Energy sector for the development of an onshore, 10 mega watt wind farm near Bilsthorpe in Nottinghamshire in 2011, and it is through our commercial and financial structuring expertise that will help us to succeed in further projects, such as this, in this exciting new sector.
