Trafford Hall
Trafford Hall is the home of the National Communities Resource Centre. This charity offers support to all those living and working in low income communities in the United Kingdom to develop their skills, confidence and capacity to tackle problems and reverse poor conditions.
John Laing has provided support to the Charity from its establishment over 10 years ago.

The objectives of NCRC were, and are, totally focused on the needs of the tenants and residents of low income estates. At John Laing we noticed that we worked on many of these estates and recognised that many residents had no say in the regeneration process which did not make for good co-operation at site level or indeed for a sustainable regeneration process.
John Laing offered advice about the choice, location, and cost of the renovation of likely buildings. Having found a suitable building, we arranged and managed the complete refurbishment of the dilapidated building. Using our contacts and influence with subcontractors and trade organisations we were able to keep the cost of the work to a minimum and also assisted with the charity's early cash flow problems. In addition financial support was given prior to the building being refurbished to assist with NCRC's fundraising activities.
