John Laing Group plc (“John Laing”), the responsible investor and active manager of infrastructure projects internationally, is delighted to announce its support for the launch of the Women’s Infrastructure Network (WIN) in Colombia.
WIN’s first event in the country will be a virtual conference taking place on Friday, 20 November 2020. John Laing will be the sole sponsor of the conference, which will be hosted jointly by John Laing and Semana, a prominent Colombian business news publication.
The conference will feature four panel speakers: Marta Lucia Ramirez, vice president of Colombia; Luz Maria Correa, CEO of Construcciones El Condor; Claudia Cecilia Castillo Pico, CEO of the Alto Magdalena road concession; and Andrea Medina Silva, Construction Manager of Ruta del Cacao.
WIN is a global network that promotes the visibility of women in infrastructure and provides networking opportunities and support. WIN Colombia will be the organisation’s first chapter in Latin America.
