John Laing Appoints Susan Shehata as Senior Adviser
John Laing Group plc (“John Laing”), the responsible investor and active manager of infrastructure projects internationally, is pleased to announce the appointment of Susan Shehata as a Senior Adviser to the company.
In this role, Susan will advise John Laing’s Investment Committee, bringing to bear more than 20 years of transaction and financing experience across the infrastructure and utilities sectors.
Susan was previously Global Co-Head of Infrastructure & Real Estate Finance at HSBC, where she oversaw debt and financial advisory, lending and capital markets, across sectors including energy, transport, telecommunications and social infrastructure. Her experience spans Europe, North America, Asia Pacific and the Middle East where she served an international client base including governments, corporations, pension funds and insurance companies. During her career, Susan has worked in both London and Australia.
