John Laing appoints Olga Bezlyudova as Director in North America team
John Laing Group (“John Laing”), a leading international investor and active manager of core infrastructure assets, today announced the appointment of Olga Bezlyudova as a Director in its Asset Management team. Olga will be based in New York, reporting to David Wylie, Global Head of Asset Management. The hire forms part of John Laing's continued growth and expansion in North America.
Olga will initially focus on American Roads, John Laing's US transportation platform comprising the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel and three Alabama toll bridges, before expanding her remit to other platforms, businesses and complex projects across North America at all stages of the investment lifecycle.
Olga joins from CIBC Capital Markets, where she was most recently Executive Director in the Energy, Infrastructure & Transition group, advising marquee clients on transportation, power and energy transition transactions. Prior to CIBC, she spent over a decade as a principal investor and asset manager, including as deal captain and director on Mubadala’s Disruptive Investments platform and as Director of Gazprombank's Direct Investments Department, where she led its P3 and infrastructure investment activity. Across her career, Olga has held responsibility for the full asset lifecycle with expertise in origination, bidding, structuring, asset performance management, board oversight and divestment.
