Pasilly Wind Farm, France
In December 2014, John Laing acquired the Pasilly project in Yonne, in the Burgundy region of France, from Gamesa. This was the Group’s first investment in France.

The wind farm’s installed capacity is 20 MW from 10 Gamesa G97 turbines. John Laing actively managed the project through the final stages of construction, which completed in 2016, and into steady operations, building up a robust operational track record prior to divestment.
John Laing realised its investment in Pasilly during the first half of 2020 as part of a wider transaction to divest its French wind portfolio to Greencoat Renewables Plc.
