John Laing completed the acquisition of 25% equity interest in the Centre Hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM) public-private partnership (PPP) project in 2024. CHUM is the largest hospital facility in Canada, serving the greater Montreal region. The project features the design, build, finance, operation and maintenance (DBFOM) of the 772-bed Healthcare Facility located in Canada. Financial close was achieved in June 2011 and the Project Agreement expires in 2050, providing a remaining concession life of approximately 26-years. The project was delivered over two-phases with second phase completion in April 2021.
