The Convention Centre Dublin, Ireland
In December 2022, John Laing Group acquired Convention Centre Dublin (CCD) as part of a portfolio of three assets from AMP Capital (now Infrabridge). The acquisition completed in June 2023. The CCD, an iconic city landmark, has won 60 awards and is one of Europe’s leading conference venues.
The CCD is Ireland’s only purpose-built convention centre with a capacity of 8,000 people, and is the world’s first carbon neutral constructed conference venue. It is a 25-year availability-based public-private partnership with the Office of Public Works, with the concession running to 2035.
